Social Responsibility

In recent years, Hotel Pulitzer has introduced a number of initiatives related to environmental, social and economic sustainability, with the aim of operating in a more responsible way.

It has recently obtained the DCA ESG Sustainability certification issued by Dream & Charme, an Accredia-accredited body for the tourism sector. The certification covers areas such as:

• human rights, working conditions and staff relations
• health and safety
• customer management
• engagement with the local community
• data protection and cybersecurity

The hotel has long supported CasAmica ODV, an organization that provides accommodation for patients and their families who need to travel away from home for medical treatment, often for extended periods. This support includes contributing to the association’s activities and helping raise awareness of its work. CasAmica ODV operates six accommodation facilities across Rome, Milan and Lecco.

To help reduce food waste, any surplus breakfast items are made available through the Too Good To Go platform—an easy way to give good food a second life instead of letting it go to waste.

Hotel Pulitzer is also a member of Valueable Network, a European network that promotes the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities in the hospitality sector through internships and employment pathways.
